Standing Water Is a Standing Invitation to Mosquitoes

Female mosquitoes love standing water, because that’s is where they lay their eggs. Make certain to never have any standing water around your yard. Birdbaths, flower pots, tarps, buckets, cups, cans, etc. are all containers that can contain enough water to attract legions of female mosquitoes.
